The best way to enter an apprenticeship program is to attend an orientation. You can sign up for orientation here or by calling our office at 302-697-4545. At orientation, you will learn about the apprenticeship courses that we offer, and we can answer any questions you have. Orientation is also where you will begin the enrollment process.
While it is not required for all training programs, it is highly recommended as many employers do require it during the hiring process.

James H. Groves Adult High School and GED Prep class participants must be at least 16 years old at the time of enrollment. Students attending area high schools interested in the Groves Alternative Credit program can enroll in afternoon or evening credit recovery classes beginning at age 14. Students with no previous high school credit may be required to show reading or math proficiency before enrollment via the CASAS assessment.
Career, Trades & Apprenticeship students can enroll at age 16 with parental approval. This allows those students in a Youth Apprenticeship to start their related training as soon as possible.
