CTE & Trade Instructor (day and evening, 6-8 hours/week)
Part-time evening trade instructors are needed to teach in Career Certificate and Registered Apprenticeship programs in:

- HVAC
- Automotive
- Allied Health Professions
- CNA
Qualifications: Possession of professional credentials (e.g. professional licensure, journeyperson papers and/or industry license or certification) as applicable, a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience, and three professional references. Prior teaching or training experience preferred. Positions are available on M/W or T/Th evenings from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in Woodside. Offer of employment conditional upon favorable professional references, negative TB test, and favorable criminal background check. Rate of pay is $35/hour.
Adjunct Clinical Instructor, Practical Nursing Program (Mondays and Tuesdays, Dayshift, 14-20 hours per week, Mid-July/August through June
The primary duty of this position is to lead and instruct practical nursing students through clinical experiences of; Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal Child and Pediatric Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing. Clinical partners include Bayhealth Medical Center, Tidal Health, Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill, Milford Center, PAM Acute Rehabilitation, Delaware Veteran’s Home, Dover Behavioral Health and Maxim Healthcare Services. Scheduling can vary due to clinical access.
Additional compensated duties include participation in monthly faculty meetings, student advisement, participation in nursing lab and simulation activities, curriculum and program development, and community health events.
New instructors undergo formal orientation to the instructor role and to each clinical site. Mentoring and professional development resources and support are provided. One needn’t have direct experience in each care environment to effectively lead a clinical group.
This position is especially suited for nurses who gain satisfaction in helping others develop and succeed in a demanding profession. Adaptability and attentiveness to outcomes are also important qualities.
Wage Scale; RN BSN $36/hour RN MSN $37/hour RN DNP/Ph.D/Ed.D $38/hour
Minimum Requirements: Registered Nurse License, Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, 3 years direct care experience as a licensed nurse.
