This course builds upon the foundational understanding gained in the Aircraft Maintenance – General course. Students are provided with an opportunity to practice skills and gain essential competencies in a hands-on shop environment. Topics covered include wood structures, aircraft covering, aircraft finishes, sheet metal and non-metallic structures, welding, assembly and rigging, and airframe inspection. Prerequisite: Aircraft Maintenance – General.
