This course is required for the following programs:

This course offers an introduction to the aviation maintenance profession. Topics covered include basic electricity, aircraft drawings, aircraft weight and balance, fluid lines and fittings, materials and processes, ground operation and servicing, cleaning and corrosion control, mathematics, maintenance forms and records, basic physics, and maintenance publications. Successful completion of Aircraft Maintenance – General is required prior to enrollment in any of the Airframe or Powerplant apprentice-level courses.
