Piping Systems & Machining Fundamentals

This course is required for the following programs:

This course provides an overview of industrial piping, pipefitting, and an introduction to basic machining practices. Topics covered include piping selection, fittings, measurement, installation and repair of air, water, steam and process piping and valves. Students will be provided with the opportunity to perform basic set up and operation of machining tools and equipment. This course satisfies requirements toward the State of Delaware IMM Apprenticeship Related Training.
