MIG/TIG Welding introduces students who already possess basic welding skills to the fundamentals of MIG and TIG welding and satisfies the Welding for Mechanics course requirement for Registered Apprentices who are enrolled in the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic program.

Required Courses
MIG/TIG Welding

This is a specialized course for those who have a basic understanding of welding. Students will be introduced to production welding, metal inert gas (MIG) welding processes and practice, and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding processes, and practice. Extensive hands-on practice is required in this course.
