Electrical II/EST II

This course is required for the following programs:

Electrical Level II builds upon the material introduced in the first year. Topics covered include alternating current, motors: theory and application, electric lighting, conduit bending, pull and junction boxes, conductor installations, cable tray, conductor terminations and splices, grounding and bonding, circuit breakers and fuses, control systems and fundamental concepts. NOTE: This course satisfies the second-year classroom instruction requirements for both the Electrical and Electronics Systems Technician (EST) apprenticeship programs.
