The Electronic Systems Technician (EST) program prepares students to work with low-voltage applications in both residential and commercial settings. ESTs install and maintain a variety of complex electronic systems, including security, fire, telecommunications, and audio/video. Students are provided with the opportunity to earn a CEDIA CIT certification prior to program completion. Registered Apprentices, who complete four years of classroom instruction and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training with an apprentice sponsor, are also eligible to earn a Journeyperson credential through the Delaware Department of Labor.
